If the city utilizes state, county or other governmental agency bids, competitive bidding will not be required. The City of Hialeah is registered with Omnia Partners the largest cooperative purchasing organization for public sector. This gives us an advantage by offering a large portfolio of competitively bid contracts. We are requesting approval to piggyback off one of these contracts with BSN Sports -Contract #R201101 for FY 2020- 21, and additionally the approval of a blanket amount for $20,000.00 to be allocated through various City Departments for athletic P .E. supplies and team uniforms when needed. The solicitation included cooperative purchasing language in Sections I. Scope of Work, National Contract (RFP, Page 2): (RFP, Page 2) NATIONAL CONTRACT The Region 4 Education Service Center ("ESC"), as the Principal Procurement Agency, defined in APPENDIX D, has partnered with OMNIA Partners, Public Sector ("OMNIA Partners") to make the resultant contract (also known as the "Master Agreement" in materials distributed by OMNIA Partners) from this solicitation available to other public agencies nationally, including state and local governmental entities, public and private primary, secondary and higher education entities, non-profit entities, and agencies for the public benefit ("Public Agencies"), through OMNIA Partners' cooperative purchasing program.
