If the city utilizes state, county or other governmental agency bids, competitive bidding will not be required. The City of Hialeah is registered with Omnia Partners the largest cooperative purchasing organization for public sector. This gives us an advantage by offering a large portfolio of competitively bid contracts. We are requesting approval to piggyback off one of these contracts with Graybar Electrical Company -Contract #EV2370 for FY 2020-21, and additionally the approval of a blanket amount for $40,000.00 to be allocated through various City Departments for electrical, lighting, data corn. & security when needed.
